F.A.I.R. Autism Media

F.A.I.R. Autism Media is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that we started to create original, up-to-date and comprehensive educational media (in the form of video documentaries) to inform the medical community and the public about the latest advances in research and biomedical & behavioral therapies for Autism Spectrum Disorders.


Rick Rollens - Former Secretary of the California State Senate  

Rick Rollens is the former Secretary of the California State Senate, a position he held for many of his 24 years of distinguished service to the California state senate. Prior to his career with the California senate, Rick served on the staff of Congressman Jerome Waldie in Washington, DC. Currently, Rick is president of Rollens Consulting, a government relations company in Sacramento. Rick serves as the Legislative Advisor to ARCA, the Association of Regional Center Agencies which provides services and support to the over 200,000 Californian's with developmental disabilities, including Autism. In march 2006, Rick was appointed by the California Speaker of the State Assembly to serve on the Blue Ribbon Commission on Autism. He was also recently appointed by California's Superintendent of Public Instruction to the State Department of Education's Autism Advisory Committee. Rick's most recent efforts have involved the establishment and major funding of the U.C. Davis M.I.N.D. Institute.

 
Laura Lum Corby - Autism Solution Center, Inc.  
Laura Lum Corby is the parent of two children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as having an Autism Spectrum Disorder herself. She has a seven-year-old son who was diagnosed with full-blown, non-verbal autism at 18 months, and a 12-year-old daughter with multiple difficulties in the autism spectrum, including Asperger’s Syndrome. Ms. Corby is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Psychology and is also the Founder and CEO of the Autism Solution Center, Inc. in the Memphis, Tennessee area.
   
David Kirby interviews Katie Wright  
In this April 19, 2007 interview, "Evidence of Harm" author David Kirby sits down with Katie Wright, daughter to Autism Speaks' founders Bob and Suzanne Wright and mother to Christian Hildebrand, a 4 year old autistic boy. In their talk, Katie discusses her family's experiences with autism from the onset of Christian's symptoms to their search for the therapies and interventions that have helped him to begin the path toward recovery. Also discussed are Katie's opinions on vaccine injury and causation, as well as insights on the organization her parents founded, Autism Speaks.
